[Considering that Noel wasn't the type of guy that enjoyed losing his faculties it is definitely out of the ordinary, but there's no real talking about it in this state ...]

[... He's too busy snuggling Squall, and that makes talking difficult.]

[ He shook his head and quirked his lips into a tiny smile. Maybe if he fell asleep he could get him home and Noel would forget whatever happened or something. ]

[As far as Noel was concerned Squall had asked something about his favorite day to eat pizza. Which was clearly Tuesday. Why was it Tuesday? No one would ever know.]

Are we almost to the candy? Candy.

We're not even close to candy yet You're going to have to be patient.

[There was a bit of wriggling but otherwise Noel seems obedient and relatively still.]

Squall .... Don't go anywhere. Not even down the street. Not even out of arms length.

I have to walk down the street to get us home, Noel.

I don't mean like that.

[He sounds a little belligerent but that passes.] Sort of like that. I mean, just ... Don't leave me at all.

[ He frowned a little and seemed to slow his walking down. ]

Like I could....

Everyone ... [His voice has pulled a complete 180, Noel sounds irreparably broken, his face half hidden into Squall.] Everyone goes. I just ...

[He's holding on tighter, there's something beyond desperate in his grip.]

[ he felt a pain inside himself hearing that comment, hearing that tone. It was all to familiar to him. He held onto Noel tighter. ]

Noel...

[The worst are there, but even in this state Noel just can't bring himself to say it. He doesn't know if its still fear or if the alcohol is finally slowing him down rather than amping up. But instead of spitting out those five words Noel shakes his head against Squall as if to dispel that concern.

Things would be better once they were home. They had to be.]

Lets get you home and in bed.

[ Something told him he probably shouldn't leave his side tonight. ]

Mm...

[That's a really good plan of attack, Squall. For now, Noel is back to being quiet and occasionally snuggling a little around the edges.]

[ Honestly right now he is a little happy Noel was on his back right now, because he knows if he were to see any look on Noel's face right now it might actually make his heart hurt. ]

Almost there...

[There's no need to worry about that, though. Squall's walk feels rhythmic and Noel doesn't exactly fall asleep but he does begin to doze off. He always startles back into consciousness, though, as if something panic inducing crossed his mind.

Almost there. Suddenly he was looking forward to being in familiar walls. Maybe he can check on the chikabos.]

[ At least Noel has a fluffy collar to lean into while he tries to be comfortable, right? Finally getting to their place, squall pushed open the door and shut it behind him with his foot. He continues carrying Noel until he gets to his room and drops him on the bed. ]

[Yes, at least he has that, and it's strangely comfortable. He recognizes their building and looks up, making a vaguely strange, dark noise of recognition. Onto his bed, Noel goes! But his hands catch on Squall's jacket or shirt or anything, he's three-fourths awake and refusing to let go of him, in fact he's actively pulling Squall down and hopefully closer.]

[ He makes a startled noise and gets pulled down into the bed with him. He pushes himself up a little and stares at Noel. ]

[And that's close enough to lean up and kiss him. The remnants of tequila might be lingering on his lips which is why it's close mouthed.]

[ Squall completely froze up when he felt Noel's lips on his own. It was certainly something he wasn't expecting. He wasn't used to physical contact and certainly not any contact like this.]

[A drunk Noel doesn't notice these things. He realizes he's a little too smashed for tongue kissing but Squall's understandable intimacy barriers float out of his mind.

He flops back onto the bed and closes his eyes.]

That's why. The girl. Needed to find someone else to kiss.

[He sighs.]

I'm sorry.

Noel...

[ He really didn't know what to say. It's not every day someone just kisses him out of the blue like that. Honestly what could he say?]

I didn't mean to, it just sort of happened and then I didn't say anything for weeks.
