[ It wasn't really much, but Noel really seemed excited and it'd feel like kicking a baby chocobo to not give in or something. He moves closer and reaches out to cover Noel's eyes with his hand. Then he leaned in and kissed his forehead softly before pulling away and quickly looking off to the side. He never moved his hand from his eyes though. ]
[Excited as he was Squall didn't owe him anything. Even the barest amount of affection wouldn't mean anything if Squall felt obligated to give it. Noel wants him to be comfortable more than he wants those displays of care, they'd be much more genuine that way. So needless to say he's not expecting any sort of contact at all, and he's definitely not expecting to lose his eyesight. But Noel is patient, entirely comfortable with letting the other man into his space.
The little kiss is beyond sweet. His eyes might be covered but his mouth isn't so Noel's smile is pretty self explanatory.]
Are you going to keep me from looking at you until you're back to looking stoic? [He's joking, but he makes the words gentler than usual, just in case.]
[ He slowly takes his hands away from his eyes to look at Noel. Stormy blue eyes with a red face, a great combination to look at, right Noel? Just looking at that smile of his makes him feel embarrassed.]
[Not that Noel would be able to do much either way, he's talking just fine but getting up and moving normally is still beyond his skill set for the moment.]
